Global Compliance advises and assists the firm’s businesses to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Our off-cycle internship will provide you with the opportunity to work on real life projects within a supportive team environment and help you to develop a deep understanding of the firm’s business lines. The internship includes on-job training, social and professional development initiatives and networking opportunities.

The role and responsibilities are listed below:
 - Participating in the process of licences applications
 - Responsible for exchange registrations
 - Filings and internal reporting as requested by the regulator
 - Surveillance of the transactions
 - Taking part in local policies review and update

Skills and Competencies:

While the business focus varies among the different groups across Compliance, we have identified a range of required fundamental skills to meet business demands and to deliver the level of excellence clients expect from a Goldman Sachs relationship

We are looking for people who can display the following personal qualities and attributes: 
 - Legal education (either on-going or completed) is an obligatory requirement 

 - PC literacy and fluency in English and Russian is a requirement
 - A successful candidate is expected to have solid knowledge of the Russian civil code and Securities regulations
 - Practical experience in legal/compliance for an international company is desirable
 - Experience of work with RAS accounting and tax legislation (experienced user of Consultant+/Garant)
 - Advanced user of MS Office software
 - Attentive to details, industrious, able to meet tight deadlines, self-motivated, good team work skills
 - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 - Commercial focus and interest in financial markets
